Boulder Firepit
Large boulders are used to create walls of great weight that can hold back the hillside between the house on the plateau and the pool below. Flats slabs of stone are laid atop each other to create a natural staircase connecting the various levels. Mixed species of wildflower and shrub are chosen for their summer show.

A wood shed is nearly complete. As the copper roof ages, all the colors of it's patina will blend into the natural tones of the century old barn. The posts and beams for this project were milled on site using Oak logs from trees that had been felled due to disease.
